At Clearview Youth Football & Cheerleading the safety of our children is paramount. All applicants must be certified with a background check prior to having any contact with the children within the organization. CYFC utilizes an online application process for head coaches, assistant coaches, and team moms. Any individual that applies to fulfill one of these roles must complete a NCISAFE background check.

NCISAFE Information required for coaches & team moms (cheer & football)

• Go to the NCISAFE website CLICK HERE
• Create an account 
• Carefully fill in and complete the required information.
• Follow up with any correspondence, often supporting documentation is requested, such as a copy of your valid drivers license.
• The background check is good for 2 years and costs approximately $20.50 charged to the applicant.
• The only information provided by NCISAFE to CYFC is a green light or a red light; we are not provided specific results about your background check.
• All background checks must be current or completed by July15th  in order to engage in organizational events (practice or games)

USA Football Certification

• CYFC encourages all new football coaches complete the USA football heads up tackle/concussion certification program

Cheerleading Certification

• All coaches will be required to complete the applicable concussion certification prior to the first practice.
