Typically Late August - Early September, This is highly dependent on our league schedule which can change from year to year.

Toward the end of July. The specific date will be communicated by each levels coach.
How often is practice?
Football
Before the start of school, it is Monday - Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. If cancelled due to weather, Friday practices can be substituted for the missed night or for Walk Thru. This is our standard schedule, but it could differ based on the needs of the team and coaching staff.
Cheerleading
Cheer practices are twice a week before the start of school (our upper level teams may add a third practice in the summer) and once a week once school starts. Practices are typically 1 hour for Peewee- Sophomore and 2 hours for Juniors and Seniors.
Where are the games played?
Pleasant Valley Field and opponent’s home fields throughout Southern New Jersey.
What days are the games?
Varsity games are played on Saturdays, JV games can be scheduled any day of the week depending league scheduling.
Division Breakdown Football:
6u (Peewee) - Ages 5 and 6 (Kindergarten & First Grade)
8u (Freshman) - Ages 7 and 8 (Second and Third Grade)
10u (Sophomore) - Ages 9 and 10 (Fourth and Fifth Grade)
12u (Junior) - Ages 11 and 12 (Sixth and Seventh Grade)
Jr. High (Senior) - Ages 13 to 14 (Eighth Grade)
Division Breakdown Cheerleading:

Freshman - Ages 6 and 7 (First and Second Grade)

What football equipment is required?
We provide everything to play except for cleats and mouth guard. No metal cleats are permitted. Also if helmet does not have Chin Strap you will need to purchase one. You are permitted use your own helmet and shoulder pads, but a equipment waiver must be signed.
What do the cheerleaders need? We provide uniform, pom poms, bow and bloomers. The cheerleader is responsible for warm-ups, sneakers, practice wear and pink bow
Is there a refund policy? The policy of the Clearview Youth Football & Cheerleading is to issue no registration refunds after a child or children have participated in 1 full week of practice or an officially sanctioned in season game. Prior to participating in the 1st full week of practice or an officially sanctioned in season game a refund of the registration fee will be granted. The $3.00 service charge fee as well as any credit and debit processing fees (if applicable) accrued at time of registration. Any issued uniform or equipment must be returned to CYFC prior to the issuance of a refund.
What are the Fundraising and Concession Stand obligations? Since the actual cost of running the football and cheerleading program far exceeds the registration cost, we are able to offset this by with fundraising event and revenue from our concession stand. Your participation in these events and with our concession stand is essential to our program’s growth. We appreciate your support.
Fundraiser: Fundraising is an important part of our program, it allows us to strengthen our program and keep up with maintaining our equipment and the facilities we utilize. The Clearview Youth Football & Cheerleading fundraising program utilizes a raffles, 50/50's, concessions revenue, merchandise revenue and sponsorships to raise money. Any and all revenue goes directly back into the organization.
Much much money goes to paying coaches and other employees? Clearview Youth Football and Cheerleading is a 100% all VOLUNTEER organization. None of our coaches or staff receive any payment for their time.
